SO WHAT IS THE ROLE OF LES ÉDITIONS DU MITHUN? And how are we different from traditional publishers?

It’s a fact that not everyone feels comfortable with the work of self-publishing, which, let’s be honest, can seem tedious to many and requires a certain level of experience as well as a natural ease with technology. And, truthfully, quite a bit of time. Perhaps what matters most for an author is to dedicate their time to writing rather than “wasting" (!) it doing a publisher’s job!
That’s why we offer to do this work for you — assuming your manuscript is already proofread and ready for publication. All the following preparations will be carried out entirely on (or will lead to) Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) platform. At present, KDP stands as the most globally accessible system.

1) Manuscript Preparation
The first step is formatting your manuscript to meet Amazon KDP’s requirements and uploading it to the KDP interface — for paperback, e-book, and, if desired, hardcover. For printed books, the ISBN will be obtained during this phase. E-books will simply use an ASIN (Amazon’s unique reference system).

2) Cover Preparation
If you already have a cover, we’ll adapt it to meet KDP’s specifications: format, size, layout, etc. If not, we’ll create one from scratch.
